We’ve all talked ourselves silly when it comes to the Detroit Lions’ third overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. We’ve exhausted trade down scenarios, talked ourselves into and out of just about every potential prospect to pick with that key first-round pick.
But this draft will be about more than just one pick for the Lions. Currently, the Lions have nine draft picks, including four in the top 85. It’s hard to say that Day 2 of the NFL Draft will be more important than the third overall pick and what the Lions decide to do with it, but it’s still pretty darn important for the Lions.
