ALLEN PARK – When Jon Robinson and Mike Mularkey took over the Tennessee Titans' football operations in January, they decided to embark on a youth movement after seven straight seasons without a playoff berth.

Conklin was the first player Robinson drafted after being named the Titans' general manager.
