Michigan football's Hassan Haskins pulls out of Senior Bowl with ankle injury

MOBILE, Ala. — Running back Hassan Haskins is still dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Michigan football's college football playoff loss to Georgia in December, and that injury has caused him to pull out of this week's 2022 Senior Bowl.

"Same agents that had Najee Harris last year and he had almost the same exact injury that Najee had in the college football playoff as well," Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy told the Free Press on Tuesday. "It’s a high-ankle thing."

Haskins led the Wolverines with 1,327 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns this season, but had just nine carries for 39 yards in Michigan's 34-11 semifinal loss.
