Training camp, when the pads come on, is generally the place that the skill positions make their names heard. There isn’t any tackling, so the physical positions don’t generally get a lot of hype during this time, if they’re playing within the rules. It’s nice to see, then, that a fullback can get himself some real exposure. Michael Burton was drafted in the 5th round this year and a lot of fans were taken aback. Why take a fullback in the 5th? Because guys like Michael Burton? They crack heads. They enjoy themselves doing it, too.
