ALLEN PARK -- After taking a day off practice for the first time since 2012, Matthew Stafford was back to work Tuesday at Detroit Lions headquarters.
Stafford got the day off as his agent wrapped up negotiations on a five-year extension worth a historic $135 million. Stafford and GM Bob Quinn are expected to address reporters after practice.
Linebacker Tahir Whitehead and running back Zach Zenner were also back after sustaining injuries last week. And tight end Eric Ebron practiced as well, his first back-to-back days of work since the start of training camp.
Detroit was without some other key players though, including safety Miles Killebrew and rookie receiver Kenny Golladay.
