Along with free meals for hospital workers, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, are donating $100,000 to help provide food to those in need because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The donations will be divided between two local groups, Forgotten Harvest, which delivers food to local charities, and the Detroit Public Schools, which is providing meals to students impacted by COVID-19.
"Obviously, Kelly and I feel really blessed to be in the situation we're in," Stafford said on DetroitLions.
