If the Detroit Lions plan on moving on from offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, head coach Matt Patricia isn’t tipping the team’s hand yet. During his final press conference of the year, Patricia said the team hasn’t made a decision on the coordinator’s fate for 2019, and that he wants to wait for the dust to settle before coming to any conclusions.
“It’s only fair at this point of the season, for all aspects of the team—players, coaches, personnel, all of it—to allow the emotion of the season to come down and for everybody to have that opportunity to clear your head,” Patricia said.
