MDOT is getting rid of road signs willingly, for a change.
Two 14-by-7-foot signs featuring the Pontiac Silverdome are going up for auction starting Sept. 10, the Michigan Department of Transportation said in a statement.
The signs, which were no longer needed after the Silverdome's demolition in December 2017, weigh a whopping 225 pounds. Winning bidders will have to pick up the signs on Sept.
