While the Chicago Bears are almost certainly going to be without starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky this week, the Detroit Lions will be missing a few key players of their own.
The Lions announced Wednesday afternoon that wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. and running back Kerryon Johnson will miss the Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears.
Jones suffered his injury against the Bears two weeks ago and did not play last week against the Panthers. It’s unclear how close Jones is to returning, but he hasn’t practiced since suffering that injury.
