On Sunday, Marvin Jones Jr. will suit up for the Detroit Lions for the 69th time in his professional career. For the past five years, Jones has been one of the most consistent and productive players within the Lions offense, averaging 823 receiving yards per season and tallying a total of 34 touchdowns.
Jones’ game against the Minnesota Vikings could very well be the last game the veteran plays in a Lions uniform. His five-year deal with Detroit comes to an end at the end of the 2020 league year, and when asked on Wednesday if he was interested in re-signing with the Lions, it didn’t exactly sounds like he’d be jumping on an offer.
