It took Luke Willson about 32 minutes to drive to his new job Wednesday morning, and that was a bit longer than he expected. The United States-Canadian border had a small delay, so the new Detroit Lions tight end was a few minutes tardy.
Usually it takes him 25 minutes from his hometown of La Salle in Ontario, Canada, just over the Detroit-Windsor border, where he grew up as a die-hard Detroit Lions fan who twice dressed up as Barry Sanders for Halloween.
W!!! I can come clean now: I grew up a Lions fan, even dressed as Barry Sanders for Halloween.
