Lions add a safety
The Lions thought they had a safety. But the refs disagreed.
No matter, they got the safety anyway, and now lead the Raiders, 18-13.
A holding call on first down was ruled to have occurred out of the end zone, ticking off this large crowd at Ford Field. Replays showed it was close.
On third down, the Raiders were called for holding again, this time definitely in the end zone, giving the Lions another two points and the ball.
One note on that Matthew Stafford touchdown, by the way: That was just the Lions' third rushing score of the season, and first since Week 3.
