Mr. Stafford, meet Mr. Donald
Matt Stafford got a face-full of Aaron Donald on the Lions first drive. You may remember Donald as the guy the Lions passed on to take Eric Ebron at No. 10 in the 2014 NFL Draft. Well, he's having a heck of a career thus far, and he killed the opening Lions drive with a sack of Stafford on 3rd-and-6.
The Lions defense forced a St. Louis punt to start the game, and the offense got decent starting field position at its own 34 after the Rams were called for a facemask on the punt.
