Lions can't take advantage of fumble
It looked like a possible turning point. Detroit's dormant offense took care of that.
Seattle's Tyler Lockett muffed a punt early in the second half, and Detroit's Don Carey recovered, giving the Lions another crack on offense, and from the Seahawks' 46-yard line, no less.
No surprise, the drive went nowhere. It actually went backward.
The Lions closed in on a first down, but a holding penalty killed that, and a couple big shots down field dropped to the ground.
Detroit was forced to punt again, thanks to a running game that is going nowhere.
