Matthew Stafford worked the Lions into position to get within a touchdown, but he tried force a ball into Golden Tate and Micah Hyde came away with an interception to seal the deal for the Packers, won won in Detroit 31-24.
The Lions got the ball back with 22 seconds remaining and Stafford found Anquan Bolding for a 35-yard score with 13 seconds remaining. The Lions failed to recover the onside kick, however.
The Packers have won a home date with the Giants next week and Lambeau Field. The Lions find themselves in the daunting position of having to travel to Seattle for a wild card matchup.
