The Lions offense couldn't get anything going on its first possession on the second half, giving Aaron Rodgers a prime opportunity to really make his mark and take control of this game. Green Bay started at its own 15 and was able to get out near midfield, but the Lions defense stiffened and forced a check down on third down that resulted in a Packers punt.
With 1:38 to play in the third quarter, Green Bay still leads 17-14.
Packers open second half with TD
Jordy Nelson had been relatively quiet in the first half, but Aaron Rodgers found his favorite target twice inside Lions territory to get the ball down the 3, where he found Davante Adams for the go-ahead touchdown.
