Live blog: Lions chip away at deficit with Prater FG

Matt Prater continues to save the Lions bacon, drilling a 53-yard field goal with 4:03 remaining in the third quarter to cut the Seattle lead to 10-6

Considering the Lions started at their own 4, that's not a bad end result.

The drive got started when Stafford found Golden Tate for a huge first down that helped the Lions avoid punting from their own end zone. Marvin Jones dropped what would have been a big gain, but Zach Zenner's juggled screen pass went for 23 yards to put the Lions in business near midfield. Another strike to Tate got the Lions into Seattle territory.
