DETROIT -- Detroit Lions team owner Martha Ford has made it clear she wants to win now. She’s said it often during statements released to the public and in the rare times she’s spoken with the media.
Those she hired to try to accomplish that, though, are not putting any timetable on when they’ll be able to turn Detroit into a consistent winner. The response came after a question from the audience complimented team president Rod Wood and general manager Bob Quinn for being a needed change in the front office structure of the franchise.
“I’m not going to make any promises,” Wood said at the franchise’s Member Summit at Ford Field on Thursday night.
