ALLEN PARK -- Golden Tate isn't a shy guy. He'll give you a piece of his mind, no matter what's on it, and that includes his frustration with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Lions receiver played his first four seasons there, and wanted to keep playing there when his rookie contract was up in 2014 -- until he saw what Seattle was offering. He called it "laughable."
"I did everything right," he said, "and what they offered, it was like, 'Is this serious?'"
But time seems to have healed old wounds, because Tate had nothing but love for his old team this week as Detroit (3-3) prepares to host Seattle (3-3) on Sunday at Ford Field.
