Allen Park — The Lions have no plans to rest any players in their season finale Sunday against the Chicago Bears (1 p.m., FOX).
Wide receiver Calvin Johnson has been nursing an ankle injury the entire second half of the season, but coach Jim Caldwell said the team won’t use any extra caution in a game with zero playoff implications.
“We look at everybody’s health and situation according to if they’re ready to play,” Caldwell said Wednesday. “If they can play, they’re going to play, no matter who it is.”
The Lions, of course, have been playing relatively meaningless games since the Rams eliminated them from postseason contention in Week 14.
