The Dan Campbell era is officially upon us. Starting Sunday afternoon, the clock starts on a new Detroit Lions’ team. No longer will we have to dissect draft classes or free agency moves. We will no longer judge the players and coaches based on practices, exhibition games, or press conferences.
Sunday marks the first real test for Campbell and company. While first impressions aren’t everything, it’s hard not to look back on the initial test of the previous regime and recognize all the warning signs that were there.
That being said, this regime will have a much longer rope than their predecessors, and for good reason.
