The Detroit Lions have acquired wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round draft pick, general manager Brad Holmes told reporters Tuesday.
Peoples-Jones, who was born in Detroit, has eight receptions for 97 yards this season in seven games. He posted career highs last season when he had 61 receptions for 839 yards and also had three touchdown catches.
The move comes a week after the Lions released veteran wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. after he announced he was stepping away from the team for family matters.
