Lions to split third receiver reps between TJ Jones, Kenny Golladay

ALLEN PARK -- Kenny Golladay was good enough to make things interesting at receiver, and he's expected to play a role in the Detroit Lions' season opener Sunday against Arizona.

But all signs indicate TJ Jones will open 2017 as the third receiver behind Golden Tate and Marvin Jones.

The Lions listed two starting running backs on their initial depth chart of the season, and just two receivers, which had left some mystery as to who had secured the third job.

"Jones been around here, played some good football for us, gotten a lot of reps with our ones this camp," offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said.
