For the second straight week, the Detroit Lions will have a referee that had a game-altering questionable call against the franchise last season.
Tony Corrente, the referee in the Calvin Johnson batted ball through the end zone game -- a Monday Night Football loss to Seattle last season -- will be the referee for Sunday's game at Chicago. This comes after last week, when the Lions-Packers game was officiated by Carl Cheffers, who was the Hail Mary official in last season's Detroit-Green Bay game.
To refresh your memory, Seattle's K.J. Wright batted a ball fumbled by Calvin Johnson out of the end zone last season when the Lions were on the 1-yard line about to score.
