Lions thrash Eagles 45-14 for Turkey Day win

Now that’s a Thanksgiving feast.

The Detroit Lions got standout performances from Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Ziggy Ansah in their most complete performance of the season Thursday, beating the Philadelphia Eagles, 45-14, to win their third straight Thanksgiving game in blowout fashion.

Stafford completed 27 of 38 passes for 337 yards and tied a career-high with five touchdowns.

Johnson caught three of those TDs as the Lions scored on six straight possessions at one point in the game.

And Ansah had 3.5 sacks and forced and recovered a fumble to tie J.J. Watt for the NFL lead in sacks.
