The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve signed WR Keshawn Martin to a contract on Saturday.
Martin, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Texans back in 2012. He spent just over three years in Houston before he was traded to the Patriots a few weeks into the regular season.
The Patriots signed Martin to a two-year, $3 million deal back in January of last year, but he was, unfortunately, one of the team’s final roster cuts as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit. The 49ers signed him to a contract at the start of the regular season but elected to cut him loose in November.
