Originally a fourth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2012, Charles has not been active for an NFL game in three years. He has nine career receptions in 29 games with the Bengals.
Since his release following the 2013 season, Charles has bounced around practice squads, most recently with the Saints. Per Rotoworld, Charles is still facing a one-game suspension for a road rage incident in the 2015 offseason. He was also suspended during his college career for a DUI.
Charles recently graduated from the University of Georgia, where he played his college ball.
