The Detroit Lions are shuffling the depth on the interior of their defensive line, announcing they have signed defensive tackles Ego Ferguson and Bruce Gaston while cutting undrafted free agents Nick James and Maurice Swain.
Both Ferguson and Gaston should be familiar to the Lions. They were part of the Chicago defensive line in 2015 and Gaston also spent a brief amount of time in Green Bay. They are the second and third former Bears defensive linemen to join the Lions this offseason, joining Cornelius Washington, who signed during free agency.
