The Detroit Lions announced Thursday that they’ve signed defensive tackles Ego Ferguson and Bruce Gaston and placed defensive tackles Nick James and Maurice Swain on waivers.
Ferguson, 25, was taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,113,203 contract and stands to make a base salary of $980,892 for the 2017 season.
Chicago elected to waive him with an injury designation at the start of the season and he was later placed on injured reserve after clearing waivers
The Bears officially moved on from Ferguson last month before he was later claimed by the Packers and cut loose soon after.
