Tracy Walker was not fined for his helmet-to-helmet hit in Monday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers, but the Detroit Lions safety will be cutting a check to the NFL nonetheless.

Walker was fined $12,500 for comments criticizing the officiating after Monday's game, which featured several disputed calls.

Walker was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the opening drive of the third quarter, when he hit Packers receiver Geronimo Allison in the helmet with his helmet as he went for an interception.
