As Detroit found themselves down by 17 points in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, one Lions player showed his frustration.
Lions running back LeGarrette Blount was on the sideline when Matthew Stafford scrambled towards the team’s sideline. As Stafford was ducking out-of-bounds, Niners linebacker Elijah Lee helped the Lions quarterback reach the sideline, and Blount wasn’t a fan of the hit on his team’s quarterback.
While the officiating crew was sorting out the penalties and the situation, head coach Matt Patricia and Blount were shown on the sideline sharing words.
