ALLEN PARK -- Gulp.
The Detroit Lions announced on Friday they've already ruled out All-Pro corner Darius Slay and Pro Bowl guard T.J. Lang for Sunday's game against Chicago. With Jamal Agnew on injured reserve, that means the club will be without two of its top three cornerbacks when they visit the first-place Bears.
Nevin Lawson, DeShawn Shead and Teez Tabor are Detroit's top healthy cornerbacks.
Slay is coming off a career season in 2017, when he was named first-team All-Pro after leading the NFL in interceptions. But he has struggled to recapture that form in 2018.
