As Friday draws towards a close, the Detroit Lions are continuing to make their way down to their 53-man roster limit that looms at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday. According to the Detroit Free Press, over a dozen Lions players have already been notified that they have been cut. So far, we’ve only heard of six.
The most recent player on that list is tight end Marcus Lucas. According to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, Lucas has been cut.
Despite Jeremy’s love for him in the Name Bracket Tournament, Lucas was unable secure himself a spot on the Lions roster.
