Brandon Powell caught the punt, made a man miss and then had the lane open that undrafted players dream of late in the preseason.
Powell raced 80 yards for a punt return touchdown in the fourth quarter to help spur a preseason comeback victory in the Lions' 33-30 win over the Buccaneers. It was the type of play that happens late and with backups in, but it's the kind that gets coaches to notice and to think long and hard about the talent they have and whether or not to give him away.
Powell is an undrafted rookie out of Florida trying to make what is arguably Detroit's most loaded position group.
