Detroit Lions training camp is set to begin July 29, with the first open practice for the general public on July 31.
The team unveiled its full schedule today for training camp at Allen Park, which features just three open practices to the general public: 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2 p.m. Aug. 4 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5. This is due to the team's joint practices and preseason game with the Pittsburgh Steelers from Aug. 8-12, the Lions say.
The first practice July 29 is dubbed the "Think Ford First Look," which is open to guests who visit a Southeast Michigan Ford Dealership starting July 20 to pick up a Lions "Think Ford First" wristband.
