The Lions have reportedly added two players via waivers, one day after they submitted cuts for the 53-man roster.
Detroit has added defensive back Dee Virgin from the Texans and offensive tackle Andrew Donnal from the Ravens.
Virgin was an undrafted cornerback out of West Alabama this year, coincidentally the same profile Malcolm Butler once had when Matt Patricia got ahold of him in New England. Virgin measures 5 feet 10 inches and 205 pounds and projects to play more with shifty receivers.
Donnal is in his fourth year out of Iowa. The former fourth-round pick spent two years with the Rams before joining the Ravens.
