As we found out on Tuesday, the Detroit Lions have brought back running back Rasheed Williams. He was released shortly after signing as an undrafted free agent back in May, but that was strictly because he was still in school and couldn't practice as a result.
With Williams now officially back with the Lions, they decided to release wide receiver Erik Lora to make room for him. Lora was added after taking part in the Lions' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis last month, and he seemed like a potentially intriguing addition given Detroit's previous interest in him:
