ALLEN PARK -- Aaron Dobson has yo-yo'd his way back onto Detroit's roster.
He originally signed with the Lions last week, got cut on Saturday because the club needed an extra linebacker against Green Bay, then was re-signed on Tuesday heading into this week's game against Chicago.
He takes the place of Zaviar Gooden, that extra linebacker Detroit signed for the loss against the Packers. Gooden has bee re-assigned to the practice squad.
Dobson was a second-round pick of the Patriots in 2013, but injuries have sidetracked his career. After catching 37 passes for 519 yards as a rookie in 2013, he has just 16 catches for 179 yards the last two years combined.
