The Detroit Lions brought back another of their own free agents on Monday, re-signing tight end Tim Wright.
Wright is the fifth tight end on Detroit's roster, joining Eric Ebron, Brandon Pettigrew, Jordan Thompson and Casey Pierce. The Lions initially acquired Wright during the last week of training camp last season, trading Kyle Brindza to Tampa Bay for him.
Wright's acquisition meant the end of Joseph Fauria's time with the Lions and he spent the season as Detroit's third tight end. Wright played in nine games, catching nine passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
