ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions "super fan" who was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears might not lose his season tickets.
Based on the NFL’s fan conduct policy, Matthew Spring -- who describes himself as SuperFan -- will have 30 days to take and pass an online conduct class in order to regain his tickets.
“Ford Field policy is to not comment on specifics regarding security incidents with fans and guests at stadium events,” the Lions said in a statement Monday afternoon. “The incident in question has been reviewed and corroborated both internally and externally.
