To no one’s surprise, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance on “Monday Night Football” against the Seattle Seahawks. In that game, Goff went a perfect 18-of-18 for 292 yards and two touchdowns. He set an NFL record for most completions in an entire game without a single incompletion.
“He really found his rhythm early, and I thought he was seeing the field, played with rhythm, he had to move a little bit in the pocket,” coach Dan Campbell said of Goff’s performance. “I thought what really kickstarted him is he had to kind of move in the pocket, got spun around, and hung with (Jameson) Jamo (Williams) and hit him on the hook for the first down.
