The Detroit Lions officially placed DT Bruce Gaston on injured reserve Tuesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Gaston, 25, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May of 2014. Since then, he’s had brief stints with the Patriots, Dolphins, Packers, Bears, Vikings, Chargers, Eagles, and Panthers before signing on with the Lions this past June.
Unfortunately, Detroit waived him with an injury designation on Monday.
In 2015, Gaston appeared in nine games and recorded 12 tackles and a sack.
