Three Lions players placed on the PUP list will miss the beginning of training camp, but the team has some good news confirmed about Ameer Abdullah.
The Detroit Lions announced on Sunday that they have placed three players on the preseason Physically Unable to Perform list: TE Brandon Pettigrew, WR Corey Fuller and OT Corey Robinson. Those three players will miss the beginning of training camp, which starts on Friday.
Pettigrew continues to rehab from a torn ACL suffered in December. With the Lions shorthanded at tight end, the news that he won't be ready for training camp is troubling, albeit not surprising.
