ALLEN PARK -- One year ago, the Lions left their pass rush mostly in the hands of Ezekiel Ansah and then saw the pieces drop one by one in camp.
The hope is that this year is different, but the start doesn't feel that way yet.
As training camp kicked off in front of season-ticket holders on the grass practice fields in Allen Park, Ansah paced along the sidelines yet again. As did Devon Kennard, the top outside free-agent acquisition. Cornelius Washington did not, but only because he was off running to the side as part of his own day without any practice.
