If Theo Riddick catches four passes Sunday in Chicago, and Calvin Johnson is able to haul in two, the Lions will have three players reach 80 receptions on the season for the first time in franchise history.
Golden Tate has already reached the mark and leads the team with 86 receptions.
“The more you can do the better off we’re going to be,” Tate said of potentially reaching the feat. “To have so many dynamic guys, who can do so much with the ball in different areas of the field, is huge and I think we have a coordinator right now that’s maximizing that.
