“Thursday Night Football” between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers lived up to the billing. Both teams went toe-to-toe with big offensive plays, thrilling plays on defense, and elite quarterback play from both teams.
But in the end, it was the Lions who edged out the Packers. The defense picked up a huge red zone stop to hold the Packers to a critical field goal, while the offense drove out the remaining clock to set up a chip-shot game winning field.
With the win the Lions have now won a franchise record 11 straight game, and have clinched a spot in the playoffs.
