Detroit Lions punter Sam Martin said he has no lingering issues from the chest injury that sent him to the hospital briefly after Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, and he'll be fine to play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

Martin was injured while covering a punt downfield in the third quarter, when he was blocked from the side by Bears receiver Joshua Bellamy.

He remained momentarily on the ground on all fours after the play, but went to the sideline under his own power and stayed in the game.
