Only one player was absent as the Detroit Lions opened their offseason training program on Monday.
The Detroit Lions kicked off their 2015 offseason training program on Monday with their first set of voluntary workouts. Actual on-field work won't begin until the Lions hold their first set of OTAs at the end of May, but the start of the offseason training program gave them a chance to come together as a team for the first time since the 2014 season ended.
Last year, the big story at the beginning of the Lions' offseason training program was Ndamukong Suh's absence.
