Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford knows what he has to do Sunday at New Orleans. He has to score. And score again. And then score some more.
If the Lions hope to have any chance at keeping up with the Saints’ top-ranked offense, which is coming off a 49-21 pounding of the Los Angeles Rams, Stafford is going to have to get the Lions on the board often.
“Yeah, that’s part of it,” Stafford said Wednesday. “You’ve got to understand who you’re playing. Each game is going to have a different feel to it. This is a really good offense, a talented group, playing at their place where they’re playing really well, putting up a bunch of points.
