Lions' odds of winning Super Bowl get longer after free agent moves

ALLEN PARK - The Detroit Lions have been active in free agency.

They signed tackle Rick Wagner and guard T.J. Lang in an attempt to upgrade their offensive line.

They also added tight end Darren Fells to give them more pass blocking and signed return man Keshawn Martin.

Defensively, they added depth by signing cornerback D.J. Hayden and linebacker Paul Worrilow and they beefed up the line by adding end Cornelius Washington and tackle Akeem Spence.

So did free agency make the Lions, who are coning off a 9-7 season and their second playoff appearance in three years, a better team?
